Ellie's Academy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Center Director to oversee the operations of our early childhood education center. The Center Director will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education to children while fostering a supportive and enriching environment for staff and families.

• Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the center, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and values
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including curriculum implementation, staff management, enrollment, and facility maintenance
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, staff, and the broader community
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and uphold high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness
• Recruit, hire, train, and mentor staff members to promote professional growth and development
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that enhance the overall quality of the center
• Monitor and manage budgetary resources effectively, including tuition fees, expenses, and financial reporting
• Act as a liaison between the center, families, and external stakeholders, representing Ellie's Academy with professionalism and integrity

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting
• Knowledge of state licensing requirements and early childhood education best practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of motivating and inspiring teams
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and problem-solve effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and childcare management software

• Director's Credential or equivalent certification
• Experience with accreditation processes (e.g., NAEYC, Grow NJ Kids)
• Knowledge of Reggio Emilia or other progressive educational philosophies
